CFAA Partnership with Chicago Council on Global Affairs

China’s Economy and China’S Consumers: The Long-Term Outlook event

It’s our great honor to partner with Chicago Council on Global Affairs on the event “China’s Economy and China’S Consumers: The Long-Term Outlook event”. The economic shift in China from a manufacturing-led economy to a services- and consumer-based one is proceeding apace, and will intersect with large-scale demographic changes as the population ages. It may have its own impact on the labor force, it will also create the largest middle class the country has ever seen. Together, these concomitant transitions have serious implications for international investors and multinationals seeking to do business in China. Vivian Lin Thurston, CFA, the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Chinese Finance Association of America (CFAA), partner and portfolio manager at William Blair Investment Management spoke at the event, together with Angela Y. Lee, Paul E. Schickler and Phil Levy. The event was a great success, we look forward to further cooperation in the future!
